An opportunity to serve and fellowship with foster families. This is a family fellowship and we want to invite all of our volunteer families to join us for this event. We will grill hot dogs and hamburgers and ask every family to bring a side and dessert to share. Bring clothing to splash in the creek, play ball, and enjoy outdoor time together.

This month’s teen event is a hike, picnic, and waterfall play fellowship. We could use some adult and mature older teens to join us for this event to be extra eyes and help make sure everyone stays with the group. We don’t expect there will be any problems but the more eyes the better. We hope to borrow some vans so we will be able to take fewer vehicles. We will hike and play in the waterfalls and then have a picnic lunch. We plan to be back at the Morgan’s home by 4 for parents’ to pick up their children.

We are partnering with Believers Chapel to host June Parents’ Night Out. We are excited to Partner with them again this year.

Our June Teen event will be a graduation party to celebrate our graduates. May is Foster Parent Appreciation month and we will be partnering with New Vision Baptist Church. We are hoping to provide BBQ and sides for the foster parent dinner along with some homemade desserts. For the children we will also run a Parents' Night Out event in another part of the building. Pizza will be served for them as well as activities and fun. We will need volunteers to help run the childrens' program and to make and serve food. Members of New Vision are excited to participate. 

This months’ foster family event is a family fellowship dinner and dance. We would love for all of our volunteer families to join us for this event.  The foster family fellowship events are an excellent oportunity for you to get to know the foster families better and for them to meet the wonderful volunteers who make all of the events possible.  This is a potluck dinner event.  Bridge Family Ministries will provide the hot dogs and hamburgers and we are asking every family to bring sides or desserts to share. 

We are planning for music and dancing.  We will also have some games and activities set up to enjoy.  Please sign up to attend and if you know what side you will bring please share in the comments.

This is Wednesday afternoon and evening during spring break. We will gather at New Heights Chapel to bake and package goodies and deliver them to our local police and fire stations. We will also enjoy some games and dinner together. These events are for any teens, age 13 and up in your foster homes. We are looking forward to enjoying this afternoon and evening together.

We would love to have some of our teen volunteers join us for teen events to begin to build relationships with the teens. These need to be teen who are mature and able to engage with the teens and help include those who are shy or withdrawn.

North Blvd Church of Christ is partnering with us to host March Foster Parents’ night Out.

Thank you for your willingness to serve foster families in Middle TN. Please review the volunteer slots available and choose whatever you feel is the best fit for you. There are many different opportunities to serve and we would love to have anyone who has a heart to serve these families.
